TikTok is launching an application on Samsung smart TVs in Europe, permitting clients to look through their For You feeds and see other TikTok videos, the companies declared Monday.
The TikTok TV application is accessible in Samsung’s application store and is viable with 2018 and more up to date models. It will come preinstalled on all new Samsung TVs. The application will turn out to clients in the UK first.
The application shows videos from a client’s feed in a strip across the top, with videos in various classifications to look at. As per the news release from Samsung, clients can like, view, and comment on trending videosand block or mark content they’re not keen on.
TikTok videos will keep on being shown with a vertical viewpoint on TVs, the company affirmed.
The Samsung application is not quite the same as the More on TikTok application the company dispatched on Amazon Fire TVs in August. The Fire TV application incorporates interviews with makers and a “This is TikTok” class to highlight makers on the stage.
The Fire application is basically a compartment application of curated content, TikTok says, while the Samsung application is nearer to what clients find in the mobile application. Neither requires a TikTok record to see content, however clients who sign in to the Samsung TikTok application will get more customized content.
As per mobile analytics firm App Annie, when joining information from iOS and Android, TikTok was the most-downloaded application of 2020.
