Pilloo’s expanded range of custom-made offerings supports the latest reports on consumer trends which show that 85% of gift buyers rate personalisation as one of the biggest factors that determines the perfect gift.
The company’s fully online ordering service enables customers to create their personalised gift by uploading a photograph to their website. Customers can then select from a range of products and view a mock-up of the finished item before ordering.
Each product in the newly expanded range is made from high-quality, wrinkle-free polyester velvet fabric and printed with environmentally-friendly non-toxic inks and resins. The ornaments and pillows are individually handcrafted using the company’s unique sublimation printing method that transforms customers’ photographs into life-like, durable, and plush mementos which are machine washable.
Previous customers have opted to commemorate graduations, birthdays, weddings, pets, and recently deceased loved ones.
In operation since 1999, Pilloo’s manufacturing facility is located in Montreal, Quebec. The company is Canada’s only manufacturer of custom-shaped pillows which use images, texts and logos to create unique gifts. Over the past two decades they have also collaborated with multiple North American companies to offer high quality branded novelty or custom-designed products to help promote businesses and events.
A satisfied customer said: “I purchased a pet Pilloo for my daughter who has been living in the UK for the last year. She’s home for Christmas and I wanted her to have this to take back with her: it’s our dog, Cookie, who she misses dearly. I’m really impressed with the quality and softness – she’s going to love it.”
